11 Studies show the more formal education one receives, the more knowledge of issues and events, the more likely we are to participate.

13 SOCIAL STATUS THEORY Catholics & Jews Originally poor & discriminated against, are attached to more Liberal social doctrine

14 RELIGIOUS TRADITION CONTENT THEORY Issue of personal salvation versus social justice makes some groups more liberal or conservative than others.
