11. NJ STARS May be eligible if top 15% of class

Eligible for $6,000-7,000 per year scholarship at a NJ public four-year college or university

12. Dual Admission Agreement
Complete a two-year degree at a community college and also be guaranteed admission to a four-year college.
Must follow a specific course of study and graduate from an eligible program of study at the community college with the required GPA.
MCCC has agreements with:
La Salle, Montclair, NJIT, Penn State Abington, Rider, Rutgers, Saint Peter’s College, The College of New Jersey & Wilmington University

Apply to multiple colleges using the same application. A link to the Common App is located in Naviance in the “Colleges I’m Applying To” tab.

EHS students are now required to use Naviance for the college application process
Every student and parent should have an active account and check it regularly for vital information
Students must complete the Student Brag Sheet and Resume
Parents are encouraged to complete the Parent Brag Sheet

22. Applying to College
Add schools to “Colleges I’m Applying To” list on Naviance
Check each college’s website for deadlines and requirements
Check off on Naviance that you have applied
Submit Transcript Release Form once with parent signature
Submit Transcript Request Form at least 10 days in advance for each college.

23. Letters of Recommendation
Ask teachers and counselor for letter of recommendation at least 2 weeks in advance of deadline
Send teacher recommendation request on Naviance
Complete Student Brag Sheet, Resume, and Parent Brag Sheet on Naviance to assist in writing a comprehensive letter
