What can you do/find in Canvas?
- Overview of the courses for which you are registered
- Study Guides
- DBL (OGO) group pages:
Uploading files, assignments, notes, etc.
- Send messages to your teachers and tutor
- Discussion forum

3. Go to Canvas: canvas.tue.nl
Login with your: TU/e usercode and password

4. Dashboard: an overview of the courses for which you are registered
Courses: an overview of the courses for which you are registered
Groups: go to your DBL (OGO) group page
Inbox: send messages to your group members, your teacher or your tutor.
Help: Do you have any questions about Canvas?
By selecting Help, you will find several Canvas user guides, and an option to send an with your question directly to the TU/e helpdesk.

5. Dashboard
To open a course page, click on the Course button:

6. Course page Some important buttons: Home: General information
about the course.
Announcements: Important announcements about the course will be shown here. You will receive an whenever there is a new announcement.
Modules: Course content (see next slide).
People: A list of the students, tutors and teachers who are involved in this course.
Discussions: Ask questions in the discussion forum (see slide 8).

7. Modules
In Modules you can find all the information you need for the course, such as: schedules, project / course information, rubrics, etc.

8. Discussions
In the Discussion forum you can start a new discussion by clicking on the + Discussion button.
You can also respond to questions.

9. DBL (OGO) groups in Canvas
To check in which DBL group you are enrolled, click on Groups in the left purple bar.
When you select your group, the group page will open (see next slide)

10. DBL group page Announcements: important messages sent by your tutor
Pages: text pages with information
People:
list of students who are enrolled in your group
Discussions: ask questions to the project team in the discussion forum
Files: see next slide for more information

Folder: add a new folder
Upload: upload files to your group page
