2 Peoria High graduates will be required to have 26 credits for graduation Credits required for grade level promotions are as follows: to be promoted to the 10th grade- need 6 credits to be promoted to the 11th grade- need 13 credits to be promoted to the 12th grade- need 19 credits to graduate- need 26 credits

1.5 years of Physical Education 0.5 year Health Classroom Driver’s Ed

8 Graduation Requirement Electives Art Avid Business Career/Technical Foreign Language Music

9 Personal Educational Plans (PEP)

10 Course Selection Based on test scores and teacher recommendations.

11 Earning Credits 1 semester class = 0.5 possible credit earned
7 semester classes x 0.5 credit/class= 3.5 possible credits earned/semester 2 semesters/year x 3.5 possible credits/semester= 7 possible credits earned/year 4 years x 7 possible credits/year= 28 possible credits earned

12 Grading Scale 90-100= A 80-89= B 70-79= C 60-69= D 59-below= F

13 Final semester grade= 100%
Semester Grade Calculation Grading period= 40% Semester exam= 20% Final semester grade= 100%
