2 Differences Nonrenewable energy sources take millions of years to from, while renewable energy sources don't run out often and can form in a short amount of time. There is usually a large amount of renewable energy sources and Nonrenewable energy sources are not conserved enough so there is not much of them.

3 How are they formed? Renewable resources are formed through naturally occurring processes in a short, quick amount of time. Nonrenewable resources are formed by dead plants or animals very slowly breaking down and decomposing. Then based on what kind of decayed plants or animals, they can become different fossil fuels.

4 Interesting facts Nonrenewable resources like fossil fuels release harmful chemicals into the air when they are burned. Renewable resources are so abundant that they almost never run out. One wind turbine can generate enough electricity to power 1,400 households. Renewable energy creates three times more jobs than fossil fuels can create.

Solar energy can also make fossil fuels: green plants converting – chemical energy- biomass- fossil fuel and solar energy has great use in horticulture and agriculture

9 Nuclear Fusion Definition: Nuclear fusion is a nuclear reaction in which atomic nuclei of low atomic number fuse to form a heavier nucleus with the release of energy. How It Is Formed and Where It’s Found: Nuclear fusion is the joining of two smaller atomic nuclei to form a single larger nucleus. It’s most easily achieved on Earth.

Fusion power is the generation of energy by nuclear fusion. Fusion reactions are high energy reactions in which two lighter atomic nuclei fuse to form a heavier sing nucleus. What is the process of nuclear fusion? In physics, nuclear fusion is the process in which multiple nuclei join together to form a heavier single nucleus. It is accompanied by the release of or absorption of energy depending on the masses of the nuclei involved. Why is energy released in nuclear fusion? Energy is released in nuclear fusion because iron has the largest binding energy. Nucleons generally release energy while a fusion producing nuclei heavier than iron will result in energy retained by the resulting nucleons and the reaction is endothermic.

Which state or country uses the alternative energy the most and why? China uses the most alternative energy, mainly hydroelectricity and wind energy. They see renewable energy sources as a source of energy security. How does alternative energy save the environment? Solar power systems derive clean, pure energy from the sun. Installing solar panels on your home helps combat greenhouse gas emissions and reduces our collective dependence on fossil fuel. Traditional electricity is sourced from fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas. How is alternative energy resource used? Energy that is not popularly used and is usually environmentally sound, such as solar or wind energy (as opposed to fossil fuels). Fuel sources that are other than those derived from fossil fuels. 15 Definition Tidal power- It’s also known as tidal energy it’s another formation of hydropower that changes energy that is collected form tides.

16                                       WHATS   TIDAL   ENERGY ? Tidal energy is a form of hydropower that converts the energy of the tides into electricity or other useful forms of power. The tide is created by the gravitational effect of the sun and the moon on the earth causing cyclical movement of the seas. Tidal energy is therefore an entirely predictable form of renewable energy, which can be harnessed in two forms

17 -PROS AND CONS- The effects on the environment are not determined yet so scientists do not know if it is bad or good Expensive Tidal Power plants are not close to land- most technological solutions are being worked on, on land.
