There are lots of great ideas for Halloween Cookies and Cakes on the internet. Tricks or treats Offer your colleagues a choice of Lucky Dip Bags. Some contain a treat such as a chocolate bar - others tricks such as an onion, a carrot, a stone with a plastic spider tied to it etc. Count the eye balls in the jar. Make eye balls from ping pong balls and fill a jar. Or guess the number of mice and rats brains (popcorn) in the jar. A donation to guess the number and the winner gets the jar. 3 Fundraising ideas . Movie fright night
Get a group together and make sure you have plenty scary movies (old and new). Ask everyone who comes for a small donation. Create a game night. Ask guests to bring board and card games. Charge an entry fee for each game, and award each game’s winner with half of the money raised. For example: If four people pay $2 each to play Candyland, the winner of the game gets $4. The rest of the funds go to Dress Diabolical fund. Hours of games could add up to huge donations. Host a Murder Mystery. Host an “Eliminate the Suspects” murder mystery. Host an auction. The only rules: Your item should weigh about 150g, and it must be wrapped in either orange or black. Choose an auctioneer. The highest bid wins. Once everything’s been bought, unwrap the items in front of the group. Collect spare change If your office has vending machines, tape Trick-or-Treat box near the change dispenser. Encourage anyone buying snacks from the vending machines to drop in some of their spare change. diabetesnz.org.nz
