17 MUSE E-133 | Performing the Digital Museum
Performing the Digital Museum is a two-part course in that in addition to the theoretic underpinnings of the digital museum this is also your opportunity to express your own curatorial skills and create a thematic exhibition of your choosing. Pinterest is a platform that associates a series of object/images on separate boards that may be associated in a series to create a comprehensive online exhibition. You will first submit your idea (by October 4) as a 2 page written proposal (see previous assignment), and will continue to research, and develop your exhibition during the course.  I hope that you will find the class discussions useful and will enjoy contributing to your colleagues' ideas as they will be to yours. Online participation contributes to your final grade (10%). You will be delivering your exhibition to the class during the last three week of the course and will submit your final exhibition at the end of the course together with the written essay.
