School Expectations Daily reading challenge – yellow book Weekly Literacy or Maths and a topic from the home learning grid. sent out Wednesday and back in by Monday. 30 mins max Providing further support Abacus learning games / topmarks Handwriting formation 100 HFW list read, write and use correctly. Phonics speed sounds Year 1 screening materials gov.uk Show and tell- timetable on door in house groups

Class Routines Morning routine- 8.50-9am Yoga Assembly 9.05am
P.E lessons- Wednesday and Fridays. Full PE kit in school all week- home at half terms. Please make sure all items are labelled. PPA cover –Wednesday afternoons Computing and inside P.E. Snack time/ show and tell linked to topic or outside achievements/ learning Daily mile 2:50.

Reminders Names on ALL items of clothing.
Independent dressing/ undressing inc buttons and laces. Jumpers- named Water bottles/ snack Books in bags every day Yellow book – daily checking Lunch choices Books changed once a week, providing child read at home. Update any medical needs or change in personal details

Concerns/questions Aim to resolve by working in partnership with parents. In first instance class teacher – at start or end of day. If you need a longer meeting you can book appointment via office to see teacher at another time Yellow book to record short notes/ messages If not available or not resolved then member of Senior Leadership Team: Mrs Tucker- Deputy head Mrs Letts- Assistant head and Inclusion Safeguarding concerns- Ms McBride, Mrs Tucker and Mrs Letts.
