IMPLEMENTING THE WORK PROCEDURE FOR TV PRODUCTION CREW

2 STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP)
STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE is a work guide for everyone in the company in executing the whole activities. It is usually arranged in the general requirements in its work unit

& “thank you” 3. Let other people do their job 4. Be modest

6 WORK PROCEDURE IN STUDIO
STEP 1 (LAST CHECK) Preparation before recording or live broadcasting. It is valid for multy camera studio production Last check last 1-2 hours before VTR, where all crew and performers are ready

7 PROSEDUR KERJA DI STUDIO
STEP II (STAND BY) This step lasts several minutes before VTR on air, this step is where the cue start to go. This execution should systemathic in order to be effective, efficien, and acurrate. After receiving instruction from director, the director assistant gives cue “stand by” to all production runner such as operator, cameraman, floor director.

8 STUDIO WORK PROCEDUR STEP III (EXECUTION)
This step is done after director asistant receive instructions from director to begin recording (on air)

9 VIDEO CAMERA MAINTENANCE
1.Use maintenance tools carefully and properly 2. Clean the camera and lens regularly 3. Use filter which is appropriate to the camera 4. Keep camera accessories in one place 5. Switch off manually 6. If the camera wet, clean it carefully 7. Keep the hands clean before using the camera

Pre Production step Analyze mood of scenario and director’s concept, by directing, maintaining camera equipment and supporting material. 2. Do test technically on material and equipment which are used in production . 3. coordinate with key grip so technically and efficiently can do visual concept and movement

Production Step Do the visual recording technically based on director’s instruction either in composition, angle, camera movement with all changes. 2. Coordinate with camera crew in executing the duty 3. Keep and maintence the camera equipment in good condition and ready to use

12 SOP LIGHTINGMAN 1. Interprete lighting based on lighting design
2. Arrange light and maintenance the lamps 3. Help the measurement accuratelly either lighting ratio, exposure, and light colour 4. Coordinate the whole things related to electricity including generator operation

13 SOP AUDIOMAN SOUND DESIGNER PRE PRODUCTION Analyze the script and discuss with director and recording mixer to design the sound concept based on the script and diretor’s vision. Re-discuss sound concept which has been made with supervising sound editor and production mixer Recruit team members who will work together.

14 SOP AUDIOMAN PRODUKSI Watch, analyze,and give suggestions to production mixer on the result of sound recording Ask production mixer to record other sound from dialogue which can be used and needed in post production

15 SOP AUDIOMAN POST PRODUCTION 1. To apply the sound concept which has been made into cue sheet for sound editor. 2. Get involved directly in the making of new sound effects. 3. Lead and direct all part in sound post department. 4. Attend and give suggestion during music spotting. 5. Responsible for the result of sound design. 6. Supervise final result of mixing process.

21 SOP PROGRAM DIRECTOR Evaluate the result of editing
POST PRODUCTION Evaluate the result of editing See and discuss with editor rough cut result and fine cut Do final evaluation on music illustration Do evaluation on mixing previews result based on sound concept Supervise /correct the image colour in laboratory/studio

22 SOP EDITOR Analyze the script
Script conference to analyze the script technically, artistically and dramatically PRE PRODUCTIN PRODUCTION Supervise the distribution and the condition of the material from laboratory until the material ready on editing desk

23 SOP EDITOR 1. Making shot structure based on the script
POST PRODUCTION 1. Making shot structure based on the script 2. Presenting the result of rough cut 1 to producer and director 3. Making new structure and discuss with producer and director 4. Softening final edit result 5. Be a supervisor in processing a transfer result that is ready to broadcast
