0 What is the K-20 Education Network?
Established in State law in 1996 and operational in 1997 Nations first statewide broadband education network. Operates under a hybrid provisioning model, where approximately 75% of the services and equipment are outsourced to the private sector. Established a State revolving fund, where all revenues are deposited and from which are expenses are paid. Utilizes a funding model to include a state appropriation and a customer co-pay model.

4 Zoom Communication Zoom Video Communications - a cloud-based video conferencing service. Operates in parallel with the existing K-20 MSE8000 MCUs Provided to K-20 member institutions at no additional cost. Accounts are initially allocated by formula and specifically assigned by K-20 Sector leads. -By add-on services I mean the services beyond basic K-20 connectivity. -As IPv4 space becomes more scare, the large blocks available to K-20 members become more and more valuable.

5 Zoom Communication Zoom is a desktop and mobile device-based video conferencing solution that includes video, audio, screen sharing, chat and local recording features. 7 Understand Zoom’s Capabilities
Video Conferencing Zoom meetings have the capabilities to provide HD video and high quality audio for up to 50 participants. Only the host of a meeting needs an account and all invitees can join the meeting without creating an account. All participants in a meeting WILL need the Zoom client to participate. Zoom meeting makes it easy to set up or schedule meetings in a full feature web portal or on your desktop client or app. To participate in a video conference you will need a computer, camera and mic or device with built in features.

Meetings and Collaboration Zoom is feature rich when it comes to collaboration. Share your screen, share documents, photos and video clips. Collaborate using the whiteboard, breakout rooms, group or private chat.

Web Conferencing Webinar (Limited availability) Schedule a webinar for up to 500 participants with or without registration capabilities. Webinar host has control on how participants participate. Record your webinar for later viewing. Customize your webinar by branding the logo and banner of the registration process and customizing the ’s sent out to the attendees.

K-20 Zoom Licensing Basic Personal Meeting: Free license with limitations, unlimited 1 to 1 meetings, 40 min. group meetings. Pro Meeting: K-20 provided with up to 50 participants with unlimited duration, admin feature controls, recording features, reporting features and user management. Zoom Room Connector: K20 provided (limited), connector used to integrate H323 or SIP device. Zoom Video Webinar: K20 provided (limited), up to 500 participant webinar. Must have a pro license to use Zoom video webinar.

12 Experience Zoom’s Flexibility
Hosting a Meeting Zoom allows you to host a meeting with any device from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. You can schedule or create a meeting using the Zoom app, client or log into the Zoom Web Portal. As the host with your Pro license you can control the look and feel of the meeting with features allowing the host to manage participants, manage video, manage audio, manage content sharing, allow for a co-host and many more settings.
