3 Online courses are just as rigorous as face-to-face courses.
Don’t wait until the last few days of the course to complete all the work. Regular and frequent participation in the course is required from day one. What to Expect

4 Technical Requirements
Reliable internet connection Fully updated operating system Fully updated media player Firefox and Chrome Browsers installed Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Technical Requirements

5 Log in to your course each and every day to avoid missing important announcements and updates.
Contact the professor within the first couple of days of the course if you have any concerns or questions about the course requirements. Because there is often a natural and necessary delay in communication for an online course, it is also advisable to check the other course resources frequently. Communication is Key

6 Time Management Don’t procrastinate!
Schedule a regular time (and a sufficient amount of it) to devote to your online course. Keep a close eye on the course calendar provided on Moodle and in the course syllabus. Add key dates to your personal calendar as well. Time Management

7 Organize all of your electronic files in a way that makes sense to you
Organize all of your electronic files in a way that makes sense to you. For example: Coursename_assignment1 Remember the Rule of 3 for important digital media 3 Copies 2 Different mediums ( desktop, flash drive, cloud, etc.) And 1 in an offsite location (cloud storage is great for this) Organize everything

Numerous academic and student support services are available for online students.
