The primary objective of the WP4 is to engage key stakeholders across all of the partner cities from different European regions to give them the platform to generate their vision for a low carbon, clean air and healthy futures towards 2050. Task WP 4.1: Utilisation of DELPHI process to engage citizens and stakeholder via online survey, and workshops, and give them a platform to describe their personal future visions of their city. Sosnowiec in Poland is in the top 10 urban air pollution in Europe. Ljubljana is 2016 European Green Capital Amsterdam is famous for its transport solutions, but still has industrial emissions that cause the city difficulties Differing air quality and carbon sources, emissions and concentrations; Cities with differing social, economic and health challenges; Cities on differing benchmarks in their management capacity and capability; Cities of differing spatial scales and population demographics; Cities which provided regionality across Europe; and Cities engaged with various networks for dissemination purposes.

ClairCity WP4 – Citizen & Stakeholder Engagement – innovative tools
Task WP4.2: The task is to create an innovative tool such as ClairCity game experience to actively engage citizens and stakeholders with an enhanced understanding of the air quality and carbon issues within cities, create conditions for ownership of the problem and exploration of a diverse range of decisions. Task WP 4.3: The task is to give the user awareness of their personal exposure and possible health effects and to give a tool, such as the use of the ClairCity App where the user gets an understanding of personal contribution to air quality and carbon footprint and change behaviour to reduce impacts and decrease adverse health effects.

ClairCity WP4 – Citizen & Stakeholder Engagement – innovative tools. Awareness raising WP 4.4: The task has 3 activities with special focus on public health and vulnerable groups. The goal is to empower citizens via active participation in Mutual learning workshop to better understand the specific challenges and opportunities that their city currently offers and engage them into moving towards improved air quality, reduced carbon footprints and decreased health risks toward 2050. Special focus given to children and elderly via School Competition and film making on non-motorised transportation by old people/organisation Sosnowiec in Poland is in the top 10 urban air pollution in Europe. The task is to show and promote smart, non-motorised mobility of citizens in Europe via the current and desired walking and cycling routes of the city. The activity will invite elderly citizens to promote their own smart mobility. Short films will be prepared about the smart mobility tips which will show in figures, the health, environmental and social benefit of the smart moves in the city. The films will be shown at the City day: Discovering my City - Healthy and Smart Tips for the citizens and stakeholders. The mayor of the city and relevant departments will be asked to integrate the smart mobility tips in the future policy and smart development of the city. ….
