Short-term Training
Courses range from 1 class meeting to multiple weeks in length.
These courses offer the flexibility for participants to obtain necessary training in very concise and focused formats.
Courses typically end with a certificate upon successful completion of training.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 25 days
Ophthalmic Assistant – 14 weeks
Dental Assistant – 20 weeks
Professional Medical Coding (PC) – 40 weeks
Plumber’s Apprentice – 48 weeks (3, 16-week modules)
Pre-apprentice Electrical Lineworker – 7 weeks

Is a nationally recognized workforce development system consisting of 3 elements: Job Profiling, Skills Assessment & Training.
WorkKeys has been adopted by the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, the City & County school systems, and Wallace Community College.

As a result of adopting WorkKeys, over 100 jobs in our area have been profiled and more than 10,000 workers and students have been assessed.
Identifies skill gaps and provides remedial instruction where deficiencies are noted.
