6 Your body’s frequency is an important component of your health
Frequency is the measurable rate of an electrical current from point A to point B. All living matter carries a frequency. A healthy body, from head to foot, typically has a frequency ranging from 62 to 78 MHz, while disease begins at 58 MHz. Essential oils start at 46 MHz and go as high as 320 MHz, which is the frequency of rose oil. 6

7 Your body’s Frequency is an important component of Health
Essential oils contain frequencies that are several times greater than the frequencies of herbs and food. This means that essential oils have more life giving energy than any other substance. 7

8 Importance of your frequency
Flu like symptoms begin at 58 MHz Viral Infection begins at 55 MHz Epstein Barr begins at 52 MHz Tissue breakdown from disease at 48 MHz Cancer at 42 MHz Death begins at 20 MHz 8

“Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense” Exodus 25:6 “In Biblical times essential oils were often mixed in a vegetable oil base such as olive, flaxseed, walnut, sesame, or almond. But vegetable oils alone were never used for anointing. In fact, the word “anointment” is literally “an ointment”. Biblical ointments were always composed of essential oils. “ Except from “The Healing Oils of the Bible” by David Stewart 12

13 The Biblical Meaning of Anointing
The Hebrew word for “anoint” is masach, which means “to smear, spread, or massage,” and in some cases it means “to pour oil over the head or body. Except from “The Healing Oils of the Bible” by David Stewart The Anointing of David 13

14 The Anointing of Saul Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on Saul's head and kissed him, saying, "Has not the LORD anointed you leader over his inheritance? 1 Samuel 10:1 Thou anointest my head with oil… Psalm 23 14

15 The Anointing of Aaron “And Moses took the anointing oil… And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.” Leviticus 8:  ”It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments.” Psalm 133:2 15

16 Embracing Each of the 12 Oils!

28 Biblical Oils come to the Rescue
Since moving to Doha, Qatar, near the Persian gulf.  I have become VERY interested in the oils of ancient scripture. Right away I ordered Myrrh, Spikenard, Cedarwood and Sandalwood without really knowing why, just picked them out.( I already had my Frankincense!)  After a couple months in the hot, dry weather here I noticed a change in my skin and hair. My hair wasn’t as thick and it changed into dry, brittle hair. It was shocking. So right away I mixed drops of Myrrh, Spikenard, Cedarwood and Sandalwood in a cup of olive oil and covered my hair and scalp with it. Recipe: ½ cup of Olive oil 5 drops Myrrh 5 drps sandalwood 5 drps cedarwood 5 drops spikenard 28

29 Biblical Oils for Hair and Skin
After two hours I shampooed my hair and WOW, I couldn't believe the difference! My hair was soft again! I use this combo once a week on my hair now and it has become thicker and softer. All my friends here are asking me for my oil treatment now! As for my skin, Myrrh and Spikenard are a great addition to my ART skin care for the extra moisture. I am so grateful for Young Living quality oils! Carolyn Watts - Qatar 29

30 Cypress in Scripture Genesis 6:14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. ... Make yourself a ship of cypress wood. ... Isaiah 14:8 “Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you, And the cedars of Lebanon, Saying, 'Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.” Isaiah 44:14 “He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish [it].”

31 Cypress in Scripture 1 Kings 9:11 ”Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and cypress trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.” Song of Solomon 1:17 “The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.” Isaiah 60:13; Ezekiel 27:6; II Chronicles 3:5; I Kings 6:34

32 Ancient Uses of Cypress
Cypress wood was used for building ships and houses by the ancient Phoenicians and Cretans. The island of Cypress was named after it.  At this time, the custom of planting Cypress trees in Mediterranean cemeteries, symbolizing life after death began.  Even today, many cemeteries around the world are graced with beautiful towering cypress trees. Perhaps related to the Hebrew word gopher, name of the tree whose wood was used to make the ark (Gen. vi.14). The doors in St. Peter’s cathedral are 1200 years old and are made out of Cypress. They have absolutely no signs of aging, which shows you the durability of Cypress.

49 MUSIC AND MYRTLE "I am a music minister and an avid student of ancient Hebrew customs.  I discovered that in the time of King Solomon's Temple , the singers would anoint their throats with the Oil of Myrtle and the musicians would anoint their instruments with Frankincense.  I decided to do this before my own time of worship.  I found it was necessary to apply the Myrtle Oil at least 30 minutes before the first song, because the Oil helps support my throat and vocal chords in preparation for singing.  The Ancient Oils of the Bible are still as relevant today for singers and musicians as they were 3,000 years ago!" Reverend Janet McBride, Phoenix , AZ 49

50 Rose of Sharon in Scripture
I am the Rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. Song of Solomon 2:1 “Cistus has a rich biblical heritage: In ancient times it was collected from the hair of goats that browsed among the bushes. This rose like flower is found in the fertile plains between Jaffa and Mt Carmel in Israel: and because this fertile plain is called Sharon the cistus is also called the Rose of Sharon.” Scriptural Essence by Janet McBride 50

51 Ancient Uses Rose of Sharon (Cistus)
This beautiful rose has a soft honey like scent, as well as an aromatic gum that exudes from the plant. Shepherds would notice the gum stuck in the wool of their sheep and would pull it off and use it to heal the scratches on the animals. Taken from the branches of the plant. Calming and uplifting, it is helpful for meditating and counseling. Traditionally, cistus has been used to support a healthy respiratory system.* * These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. 52 Onycha in Scripture (Styrax Benzion)
Prized since Biblical times. “And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense.” Exodus 30:34 52

53 Modern Use of Onycha Onycha has a wonderful aroma of vanilla because it contains vanilla aldehyde, also found in the vanilla plant. This is the heaviest of the oils and will not pour. You may need to remove the insert in the top of the bottle and put your finger on it. Then tip it up and let some of the oil run onto your finger tip. Then rub it on the needed area. Steam distilled from the resin of the tree. Do not diffuse, it may plug up the diffuser. 53

54 Galbanum in the Scriptures
"The Lord said to Moses: Take sweet spices, stacte,[another name for myrrh] and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense and make an incense blended as by the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy; and you shall beat some of it into powder, and put part of it before the covenant in the tent of meeting where I shall meet with you; it shall be for you most holy. When you make incense according to this composition, you shall not make it for yourselves; it shall be regarded by you as holy to the Lord." Exodus 30:34-36 54

55 History of Galbanum The Jewish Talmud states “every communal fast that doesn’t include the sinners is not a communal fast.” It is believed that this passage solves the mystery of why this less than fragrant, earthy oil was part of the holy anointing oil. Christ said “I didn’t come for the righteous, I came for the sinners.” Galbanum represents those people that need redemption. When you diffuse this as a single oil into the air of your home, it helps to bring harmony and balance. It’s a very harmonic oil. 55

56 Modern Uses of Galbanum
Galbanum is mentioned in Egyptian papyri and the Old Testament; it was esteemed for its medicinal and spiritual properties. It was used in ancient temple ritual incense anointing associated with springtime. Galbanum has an earthy aroma. Steam distilled from gum/resins from stems and branches This is a non-toxic and non-irritating oil to the skin. 56

57 Modern Uses of Galbanum (cont)
Although Galbanum has a low vibrational frequency, when combined with other oils like frankincense or sandalwood, the frequency rises dramatically. It is called a sacrificial fragrance that allows for the shedding of old ideas and attitudes. Its odor helps in seeing the path ahead. It is grounding, yet leads to a surrendering to God. Galbanum can be used topically and diffused. This is non-toxic and non-irritating to the skin. 57
