Course Description
Welcome to 9th Grade Biology Honors! Our focus this school year will be three dimensional learning and developing our reasoning and problem-solving skills. Our course of study will include, Structure & Function, Matter & Energy, Interdependent Relationships, Inheritance, and Natural Selection. Each unit will integrate laboratory experiences with field work, using the process of inquiry.

What do I do if I am absent?
You are responsible for all missed work when absent. Please check the “While You Were Out” Bin for any missed worksheets, and the online calendar for any assignments or due dates.
Scheduled assessments will be made up upon your return to school. Please see me to schedule an appointment to make up a missed test or quiz.
What is the policy for late work?
Barring absences, late work is not accepted. Any assignment not turned in on time will receive a “0”
What happens if I am late to class?
Attendance is taken daily. All work missed due to absences must be made up in accordance with the policies set forth in the student handbook.
Late – If you are not in the classroom by the final bell, you are late. Please see the student handbook for policies and procedures related to being late.
