5. BAKING SODA
Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), commonly known as baking soda, is a natural substance used for a variety of household baking and cleaning purposes.
But did you know that there are baking soda uses for helping the body to prevent cancer, as well as it being a tool cancer patients can use to identify and stabilize cancer growth?

6. Introduction
Dr. Tullio Simoncini is a medical doctor in Italy who has done more than anyone to explore the uses of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) as an alkaline therapy against cancer.
It is known that cancer creates and favors an acid environment and because of this, Dr. Simoncini and others have used baking soda as an alkaline therapeutic agent.

The way that acidity seems to protect cancer is not fully understood. 
It seems that cytotoxic T-cells, which may attack cancer cells under normal conditions, are inactivated in an acid extracellular fluid [1].

8. Cancer produces, lactic acid which stimulates vascular endothelial growth factor and angiogenesis[2].
This enables a tumor to build the blood vessels that it needs to bring the nutrients for it to survive. 
So the tumor creates an environment in which it can then exist comfortably.

10. At a pH of about 10, sodium bicarbonate is an antidote (a medicine taken or given to counteract a particular poison)to this acidity. 
It can be used clinically in sterile, intravenous form.  This is a liquid, sterile baking soda. 
The sodium bicarbonate cancer treatment (NaHCO3) is well-tolerated, even with frequent repeated dosing.

No one cause is associated with cancer development, nor is there one cure for this complex disease.
Cancer initiates damaging activity within tissue and cells triggering genetic mutations and abnormalities.
This cascade of effects causes adverse changes to the body’s metabolic processes.

Many buffering systems equip the human body with the ability to optimize internal functions for as long a period as possible.
One of these known systems is referred to as pH.
For example, a healthy body should have a blood pH level of which is slightly alkaline.
Regulating pH balance is key to total health and wellness and is primarily reliant on healthy lifestyle habits, including a proper diet.

Recent research reveals that baking soda is a useful agent in identifying cancer cell growth. Acids become built up in cancerous areas of the body and the bicarbonate is converted into carbon dioxide.
These changes in bicarbonate can be viewed on an MRI scan with high sensitivity as determined by a United Kingdom cancer research group.

16. Cancer cells flourish in an acidic
environment and these regions are significantly lower in pH than other surrounding tissue.
The researchers found that MRI sensitivity increased by more than 20,000 times when experimenting with mice diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
When bicarbonate was localized into the cancerous tissue, evidence was clear that the tumors with the highest acidity had a significantly higher conversion rate of bicarbonate into carbon dioxide.

a highly-sensitive early warning
signs of cancer.
Hence, the body’s natural pH balancing system is potentially a safe way of measuring pH to see what’s going on inside patients.
MRIs can pick up on the abnormal pH levels found in cancer and it is possible that this could be used to pinpoint where the disease is present and when it is responding to treatment.”

As for whether cancer is fundamentally a kind of fungus, the jury is still out. 
However, it is useful to know that not only does sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) disrupt the comfortable environment of tumors, but it also has anti-fungal effect.[4]

and Candida

23. “Cancer is a fungus, called Candida albicans, and it can be treated using sodium bicarbonate”.

24. Earlier researchers have
found a concurrence between cancer and candida. 
In Dr. Simoncini’s book, Cancer is a Fungus [3], He notes some similarities between the two. 
Primarily, both are intractable diseases, each very hard to get rid of.  

25. He found that each forms a solid mass of low penetrability, unlike the dispersed forms of bacterial and viral infections in the body or body fluids. 
Whereas bacterial and viral infections are dispersed in the solutions of bodily compartments, and likewise, antibiotics and other anti-microbials dispersed in the same solutions have access to each microbe.

26. A solid mass on the other hand, is approached by one of two routes:
either the most superficial layer of the outer surface,
or by way of any blood vessels that course through it.

In the case of a neoplasm, the approach of approximating the most superficial layer has the effect of challenging the survival of the cancer only enough to induce the genetic changes that make the tumor more resilient to further assault by the same or similar agents.

Therefore, a productive route to the core of the cancer, a more threatening assault on its survival, is by way of the bloodstream.

29. RECOMMENDATION
FOR USE

30. Only consume this drink when you have tested your pH throughout the day and your results are acidic.
This beverage will aid in neutralizing pH, buffer stomach acid, and lower acidosis.
Drink the following mixture throughout the day except before and after meals until your pH levels are stabilized between 7.0 and 8.0.

31. Mix baking soda with fresh lemon juice or organic apple cider vinegar.
Ingredients:
Tall glass
½ tsp baking soda
2 tbs fresh lemon juice
8 oz. purified water
Directions:
Mix baking soda with fresh lemon juice or organic apple cider vinegar.
The combination will result in a foam or fizz. This is normal.
Once all bubbling has stopped, add water to the mixture and drink all at once.

33. For the cancer patient, sodium bicarbonate by intravenous
infusion, is given by a practitioner who is knowledgeable and experienced in this area, has been helpful to provide an environment that is unwelcoming to cancer. 
It is hoped that this will become a more commonly accepted practice in cancer treatment.
