Many partners choose to add Parts Replacement coverage, and we have a variety of options to suit your customer’s needs. The parts replacement options reduce your need to stock and maintain spare parts, thereby helping lower your capital expenditures. We have a variety of Parts options, per geographic availability, including: Parts shipped next business day, or four-hour delivery by courier for critical components IPOSS contracts are available in flexible contract terms: 1 year, 3 year and 5 year; and our longer contract terms are popular because the list price has an extra discount. Avaya also has support offers for remote implementation services (RICS), and for Voice terminal replacement coverage . These are not included in the IP Office Support Services offer. But can be purchased separately rom your Avaya Authorized Partner. The existing IPOSS base coverage is priced per-server, and there is incremental coverage for contact center and AWFOS that is priced per-user-license. We will be keeping the existing IPOSS pricing structure for R9.1 and for SME systems, but the pricing structure for Server Edition and Select will be changing to a per-user model for R10. Let’s look at R10 pricing.
34
IP Office Support Services for R10 Partner-engaged support
Simplicity and Scalability IP Office Support Services for R10 Partner-engaged support IPOSS Model is Based on IP Office Software Release and Product Edition Simplified Model for R10 SME Basic, Essential, Preferred Editions RTS Per-Server Pricing – 8x5 or 24x7 Based on generic server type Includes Upgrade Subscription Optional for standalone 500v2 systems Optional Parts, bundled codes Scalable Pricing for R10 Midmarket Server Edition, Select RTS Per-User License Pricing – 24x7 R10 SBC also priced per-user Includes Upgrade Subscription Required RTS Attach Optional Parts Contact Center, AWFOS Per-User License Required RTS Attach on all nodes IPOSS follows the guiding principle of speed and simplicity, and the IPOSS models are designed to enable utmost simplicity for the SME segment, and provide pricing scalability for the Midmarket segment. When Release 10 is launched, eligible releases for IPOSS will be R10 and R9.1, and R9.0 will no longer be eligible for purchase of a new IPOSS contract. It’s the product release and Product edition will govern which model of IPOSS will apply. When we say “SME editions”, this means IP Office Basic Edition, Essential Edition, or preferred Edition. When we say “Midmarket Editions”, this means IP Office Server Edition or IP Office Select. So looking at the models… For IP Office R9.1, and for SME editions, the existing IPOSS model will be used, with per-server coverage for Remote Tech Support and optional parts coverage. For the IP Office R10 Midmarket editions: Server Edition, Select and the SBC, a new per-user-license IPOSS model will be used for Remote Tech Support. This model is bespoke for the needs of midmarket- with required IPOSS RTS 24x7 coverage. And in either SME or Midmarket models: IPOSS RTS is required attach except for SME systems with a standalone 500v2 Parts coverage is optional And coverage for IPO contact center solutions, and AWFOS has an incremental per-user charge by license type. IPOSS coverage must be consistent on all system nodes

Pre-R10 contracts will migrate to the new structure at Renewal, but must recast to R10 model when adding node/s. License additions to R10 contracts will be charged per-user. This slide outlines IPOSS models and policies that will be effective when R10 is launched. When Release 10 is launched, eligible releases for IPOSS will be R10 and R9.1, and the product release and edition will govern which model of IPOSS will apply. This chart shows IPOSS policies down the left-hand side, and how they apply in the respective model. The models are shown in the colored banners: The Red banner shows the existing IPOSS offer as you know it today, and it will continue to be used for all R9.1 Editions. IPOSS RTS is required except for SME systems with a standalone 500v2 One thing to keep in mind is per Avaya policy- if you provide maintenance services to your end customer, you must purchase a service contract from Avaya. The Blue banner shows the offer policies that will apply for R10 SME Product Editions: Basic, Essential or Preferred, and you’ll see that the policies are almost exactly the same as the existing offer, and it will use the same per-server model that is in place today. The slight differences are that Tokens will not be used for R10, and the SBC coverage will be priced per-SBC license. The Green Banner shows the new model for R10 Midmarket editions: Server Edition and Select: Midmarket editions will be priced based on a new per-user-license IPOSS for Remote Tech Support based on IP Office user type, and ASBCE license type. 24x7 RTS is required and will continue to include the upgrade subscription. Parts coverage is optional, and will have a separate SKU in addition to RTS. In all models Parts coverage is optional And coverage for IPO contact center solutions, and AWFOS has an incremental per-user charge by license type. IPOSS coverage must be consistent on all system nodes Entitlement starts on the 1st Day of month following the Avaya order confirmation As with the Avaya Lifecycle policy, after each new release the oldest release is no longer eligible for IPOSS. So after R10.0 GA, R9.0 will no longer be an eligible release for IPOSS. To purchase IPOSS, any systems running non-eligible releases, will require purchase a transactional product upgrade. Very important to remember that any Tokens purchased for R9.0 systems will need to be REDEEMED prior to R10 GA as they will no longer be valid for non R9.1 systems. 2010 Avaya Inc. IPO supports up to users and up to 150 locations, and offers comprehensive, intuitive and easy-to-use collaboration capabilities (unified messaging, mobility, audio/web/video conferencing, contact center, IM/Presence and soft clients) and application integration – all in single server. Within the overall NEC business, business communications solutions are estimated to deliver less than 10% of their total revenue NEC continues to experience brand awareness challenges outside of its home Japanese market NEC reportedly has inconsistent regional product and channel strategies – a potential problem for customers operating in multiple GEOs. In the midmarket, Avaya is the # 1 global market share leader (and positioned as a UC Leader in Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications), while NEC is # 6 IP Office: 8 Areas of Significant Strength 1. A Complete Full-Stack Solution Backed by Worldwide Support 2. A Highly Efficient “Micro-footprint” Architecture Requiring 70% Fewer Servers 3. A Richer Mobile Collaboration Experience 4. Fully Integrated Video Collaboration Leaves Complexity Behind 5. Market Leading Customer Engagement Capabilities from the 6. A Robust and Intuitive Desktop Collaboration Experience 7. Rapid and Pain-free with “Quick Swipe” Remote Administration 8. No Hassle Auto-Configuring “Smart Connect” Networking

IP Office vs. NEC SMB/Midmarket Battlecard
Why We Win Against NEC: Side by Side Comparison (see web resources at bottom for more details) Probing Questions to Ask Customers and Prospects Considering an NEC Solution What is your plan for scalability if you go with NEC? Does the prospect of a ‘forklift’ concern you? Are you comfortable relying on a vendor in which communications technology is a small ‘sideline’? Do you plan to grow and have more locations for your organization? If yes, how important is it to have a single easy-to-use management tool to administer your remote locations? Do you want to have built-in applications with advanced features and scalability for audio/web conferencing, video collaboration and messaging without maintaining additional servers and virtual machines? Do you want an open and full-stack solution without having to worry about integration issues with 3rd party components for video and networking? Would you like to have complete business application integration enabled with your communication solution? Additional Resources:

IPO500 V2 as expansion server IPO Server Edition Primary Server as backup server SCN line Preferred registration Backup registration Description: SIP Endpoint and Application Resiliency Details/Customer or Partner Problem it solves: Configuration downloaded from IPO Resiliency for SIP End-points and Applications with IP Office E129, H175, B179, 11xx/12xx end-points. Avaya Communicator, one-X Mobile Preferred * * Dependent on one-X resiliency. In this example, if the IP500V2 fails, the SIP phone will register with the SE. The phone is never registered with both servers simultaneously. When the SE determines that the IP500V2 recovers, the phone will fail back. Failover and failback leverage the same mechanism that was introduced for H323 failback in R9.1 Default behavior is automatic recovery to the preferred server. Configuration option that allows the administrator to prevent this automatic recovery and use a manual recovery instead. Failover time is generally no longer than 3 minutes. The phones normally don’t detect that the server is dead until they go to refresh their registration, which happens every 3 minutes.
