Perfect Passive Participles
Perfect Passive Participles, like Present Participles, are verbal adjectives. Present Participles, in Latin, are 3rd Declension Adjectives. Present Participles are translated “______ing” Examples: Video virum ambulantem – I see the walking man.

Perfect Passive Participle Forms:
The Perfect Passive Participles use the same endings as 1st and second declension adjectives. Hooray! No new endings! A verb’s 4th principle part is the PPP of the verb. Example: laudo, laudare, laudavī, laudatus From laudatus, we can decline it in the feminine and neuter genders by using 1st and 2nd declension endings(see the back wall). laudatus – masculine laudata – feminine laudatum - neuter
