2 Employ Up Employ Up is a comprehensive program that provides individually appropriate specialized services and education/training so individuals can embark on, or complete career paths in STEM/technical occupations. Focus on Technology and Healthcare Occupations

3 Employ Up Services Job development, job search and placement, assessments, case management Occupational training Work-based training

7 The first step is to enroll in Employ Up. Start by creating an account at www.EmployUp.org and entering information to get connected to a Career Coach for eligibility determination.

8 Employ Up – Opt In Requirements 1.1:1 counseling session with a counselor for individualized services 2.Attend 5-week Employ Up Career Prep program

9 Employ Up Process Flow 1.Career Coach will provide interest and strength assessments to help determine job readiness and how to best help participant toward re-employment. 2.Counselor will assess program readiness and identify barriers.

11 Employ Up Process Flow Each Employ Up participant gets the opportunity to gain important skills through the Career Prep, a unique 5-week preparatory program based on the nationally recognized Platform to Employment program.

12 Employ Up Process Flow Rapid Re-employment For those who already have a strong foundation of skills and competencies that employers seek. Focus on re-connecting participant to job opportunities that fit their skills. Short-Term Training For those who have knowledge to build on, but need to refresh or upgrade their skills and competencies through short-term training. Career Pathway Training For those who need more intensive training to learn new skills and competencies leading to employment.

13 Employ Up Process Flow The opportunity to put skills directly to work or through work-based training at an employer’s facility, which could include paid internship opportunities, paid work experience, and on-the-job training.

14 Employ Up Process Flow Follow Up services help participants on their continued path toward career growth.
