3 Reflective Freewrite Journal Write freely about what you know and remember about prepositions and their objects in sentences. When you are finished, hook up with your writing group and come up with a composite list.

5 Prepositions and Their Objects 1.Prepositions are words that state how a noun or pronoun is connected to a sentence.Prepositions 2.The word the preposition connects to the rest of the sentence is called the object of the preposition.preposition 3.Prepositions are mostly common itty-bitty words. Check out this list.list. 4.Prepositions are always found in groups of words called phrases. Phrases are groups of words without a subject and a verb. 5.Example: The dog with muddy paws is sleeping on my formerly white, clean couch.

8 Vocabulary Worksheets Rules for correctly completing vocabulary worksheets 1.Some words have more than one form. In some situations, the word may act as a verb, in others as an adjective or a noun or an adjective. See what makes the most sense. 2.Make sure that the definition you select fits the way the word is used in the reading or video. In order to check for the correct definition, substitute a short form of the definition in place of the original word. 3.When you write your own sentence, follow Rule 2, above.
