If a student has never logged into Google then their default password is s123456 (where 123456 is their student id, eg s224713) Going forward, if a student wants to change their Google Password, they will reset their Computer Password (also known as their Active Directory (AD) Password) as they have been linked together. Scenario 1 - student changes their Computer password If a student changes their computer password by logging in to a Board Computer and hitting CTRL-ALT-DEL and selecting Change Password then whatever they set their password to on the computer will also be their new Google Password. Scenario 2 - student wants to change their Google password If a student wants to change their Google Password then they will have to do it by changing their Computer password as per the above example.
