12 Statement of Understanding We understand that Wyoming is implementing a system that… –Builds upon the significant progress already made. –Allows all schools and districts to participate. –Reserves key choices for districts. –Uses SIF and other standards to ensure all data can be shared. –Allows data to be entered once, shared universally. –Protects the security and confidentiality of all data. –Begins with a long-range design to avoid premature obsolescence of early components. Our entire plan takes these objectives fully into account. Our goals are to make Wyoming not only successful, but also a national benchmark.

(Easy 1-2-3 + ) 1.School personnel register a student in SIS 2.SIF Interoperability Occurs 3.District administrator receives e-mails from the student locator system with URL to resolve near matches. +District/school administrator/clerk logs onto the student identifier system to complete year-end roll over and other batch registration process.
