15 The Battle for the Alamo 1300 Mexican troops descended upon a small garrison of 200 Texan freedom fighters Mexicans waved a blood- red flag meaning no survivors will be taken 13 days later, every Texan was killed and launched their memory as cause for the rest of Texas to fight harder because of their sacrifices
