Affirmative Tú Commands When are tú commands used? When telling a friend, acquaintance, sibling, or someone else whom you know well, to do something How are regular affirmative tú commands formed? Put the verb in the tú form of the present tense Take off the letter “s” from the end of the conjugation The same as the 3 rd person singular form of the verb

Put the verb in the tú form of the present tense Take off the letter “s” Attach the pronoun te to the end of the command If the command has more than 2 syllables, count backward 3 vowels and put an accent on the 3 rd vowel from the end
