3 S O U T H W E S T I N S T I T U T E O F T E C H N I C A L A N D F U R T H E R E D U C A T I O N Triennial Plan 2009 - 2011 Collection of qualifications still in progress Current breakdown highest current qualification –155 Support Staff (42 staff) Apprenticeship – 3 Certificate II - 1 Certificate III - 2 Certificate IV - 13 Diploma - 9 Degree or Higher -14 Therefore snapshot is currently 24.5% have Cert III or higher October 2009 3

4 S O U T H W E S T I N S T I T U T E O F T E C H N I C A L A N D F U R T H E R E D U C A T I O N Skills and Qualifications of our Staff Current (2009) professional activities include:- –Learning and development week (term 1 break) –All support staff encouraged to use Skills Store –Current Miscellaneous workers(14) undertaking: Certificate III in Cleaning Operations Time granted and team building –PACCT and GEE staff undertaking with fee support:- Certificate III in Business Services(Education) (8) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (9) Specialist courses linked to current position (3) October 2009 4
