Growth spurt Age 11 Small amount of breast tissue Some pubic hair Age 12 Breast tissue increases More pubic hair 70% of girls have first menstrual period Age 13 Continued breast growth, nipple and areola protrude After period starts, girls might grow 3-4 inches more but it is usually less.
