8. Always end with a “Next Steps” challenge to implement a new practice. Determine the details of the next meeting and the video segment to be viewed. Post a thread in the Community. Discuss and process innovations seen in the video to internalize new practices for classroom implementation. Electronic discussions through the Community or in Groups can expand participation and solve issues of time. Make note in the Journal of new learning discovered in the video that has classroom application to meet student needs and benefits you as a professional. Review assignments, share classroom experiences and look at student work since the previous meeting. Study data and student needs. Set the stage for viewing the video by discussing the concepts related to the topic. 8
