4 Management Team Update Welcome all our new managers Encourage of all us to reach out and establish open lines of communication, collaboration, team building -Build Capacity Quick reminder if eventful things happen at your school sites or divisions call/email/text Chris or Stephanie Major emphasis on “Marketing” the Hemet Unified School District with expanded use of technology. Alex our new Public Information Officer has worked on a Strategic Plan to reach the following key audiences Internal – Board of Education, Cabinet, Administrators, Library Media Specialists, Counselors, Food Service Employees, Substitute teachers, Custodians, Administrative Assistants, ESL stakeholders, Parents & Teachers, Para-professionals, Facilitators & Interpreters, Mentors and Volunteers, Special Education Staff, Bus Drivers, Teachers, Principals External – Community Leaders, Civic Organizations, Government Officials, Chamber of Commerce, Church/Clergy, Home School Organizations, Senior Citizens, Higher Learning Institutions, Private Schools, Partners in Education, Contracted Service Staff, Illiterate Community, District Taxpayers, Business Owners, Media, Citizens Advisory Committee, Emergency Responders, Park Districts, Neighboring District. Parents & Students – PTA/PTO Groups, Highly Motivated Parents, Parents of Special Needs Children, Students, Grandparents, Student Family Members, Non-English Speaking Families, Prospective Parents, Parent Volunteers, Non-Reading Parents, Economically Disadvantaged.

5 Hemet Unified School District Educational Initiatives for 2015-2016 Continue to fund the 27 2014-15 LCAP I initiatives at $17,040,537 Add the 2015-216 LCAP 2 initiatives - 26 funded programs at $33,775,835 CSR for K-3 - 34 FTE’s CSR for 4-12 - 48 FTE’s Custodians - 4 Elementary Assistant Principals – 2 Reading Instruction Teachers – 14 Elementary Bilingual Liaisons 10.5 Foreign Language Teachers – 3 FTE’s Pupil Personnel Intervention Team – 3 Expanded Day Equivalents – 4 FTE’s Read 180 – 1 FTE Project Lead the Way – 4 FTE’s IT Support Staff – 7 Warehouse – 1 LCAP Administrator Total staff for 2 year LCAP implementation - 172.95

7 Implement PBIS Grant The fundamental purpose of PBIS is to make schools more effective, efficient, and equitable learning environments. Predictable – Consistent – Positive – Safe Supporting social behavior which is central to achieving academic gains Cohort 1A – Cawston, Fruitvale, Valle Visa, Hamilton K-8, Acacia, Dartmouth Cohort 1B – Rancho Viejo, Alessandro H.S., Hamilton H.S., West Valley H.S., Tahquitz H.S.
