4.  When you experience pressure.  Your body is trained to deal with this by releasing hormones – such as adrenaline.  Generally when the pressure stops the body stops releasing the hormones.  If you’re constantly under pressure, levels remain high and you start to experience the symptoms of stress.

8.  Work in groups of 5.  You will be given 2 scenarios, in your groups discuss how stressful you think these would be.  You need to rate how stressful each one is. 1=not stressful, 10=extremely stressful.

9.  Your need to argue your groups reason for rating your scenarios where you have.  As the groups argue their points, the other scenarios on the line will move places.  Peg the scenarios up on the washing line, in order which they have been rated.

10.  Class discussion about the stressful scenarios order of ranking.  Individuals may prefer a different order.
