1 Project Euclid A vibrant online information community for independent and society journals. Presented By Mary-Alice Lynch, Executive Director NYLINK Cornell University Library, in cooperation with Nylink and SPARC Scientific Communities, is proud to launch

2 What is Project Euclid? Project Euclid is a non-profit venture established by Cornell University Library. It is a partnership of independent publishers of mathematics and statistics journals committed to advancing scholarly communication in the field of theoretical and applied mathematics. Project Euclid allows low-cost independent publishers to participate in an online presence with advanced functionality, without compromising their unique economic and intellectual identity. The end result is a vibrant online community for independent and society journals that will be distributed domestically and internationally by Nylink.

6 Partners, Funding and Distribution An agreement between Cornell University and the Nylink network will allow Nylink to act as the sole billing and promotional agent for distribution of Project Euclid on behalf of Cornell University and SPARC.
