METACOGNITION YOU WILL LEARN TO:  SET SMART GOALS  TO ORGANIZE YOUR TIME TO BE SUCCESSFUL  DEVELOP INDEPENDENT STUDY STRATEGIES  KNOW YOUR LEARNING STYLES  UNDERSTAND WHAT EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCES ARE AND HOW IT CONNECTS TO YOUR DAILY LIFE  UNDERSATND THE IMPACT THAT MULTI-TASKING HAS ON YOUR ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL LIVES  UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENT FORMS OF INTELLIGNCES (e.g. multiple – intelligences)  INVESTIGATE HOW DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IMPACT SCHOOL, SOCIETY, WORK,BEHAVIOURS AND HOW WE LEARN

11. What are the Keys to Success in High School…  At your table come up with a list of between 3-6 ideas that will help you have success in high school.  Once your group is done, choose one person from your group to write your ideas on the white board

Making a Name Tag On one side of your name tag write your name (or the name you go by) in BIG letters Next draw a picture of a flag of the country you consider home for you Then, If you want, you can color or decorate your name tag On the opposite side of the name tag write the name of each person in the class and their home country (THIS MEANS YOU HAVE TO GET UP AND ASK PEOPLE WHAT THEIR NAME IS AND WHERE THEY ARE FROM…) MRS FRY
