2 Political Party  How can we define political party?  Political parties provide a label.  They provide an organization.  How do the political parties provide organization?  Political parties have their leaders. I AM THE LEADER OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY! click

3 Critical Period/Realignment  A sharp lasting shift occurs in the popular coalition supporting one or both parties. Ex: Election of 1932. IMMIGRANTS, CATHOLICS, WORKERS FROM THE URBAN AREAS OF THE NORTH ALONG WITH JEWS AND AFRICAN AMERICANS.
