Annotate your film poster to show how it follows the conventions of the horror genre, and a film poster. Both posters have tagline which summarizes the movie Both posters have masthead which is important to any film poster Both posters have key cast which show main characters which makes the audience watch the movie is the character is someone they like

3 Question 1: How high is the standard of the production? Does the poster have a high quality to it? Does it accurately look like a film poster? How have you manipulated your images? The poster has a high quality, the image is edited out perfectly as no outline can be seen. My image originally had RGB channel but I changed the channel to black which makes the image fit more into the horror conventions. Question 2: How does the film poster adhere to the codes and conventions of a film poster? Have the individual included all key elements such as masthead, tagline, rating, horror imagery, or blurb? A typical film poster contain an image, masthead, tagline, age certificate, review and release date. I have a tagline which summarizes the movie, there is an review which enables the audience to make a choice of whether to watch the film or not. My poster has age certificate which make the audience decide if the film is suitable for them. Question 3: How does the film poster adhere to the conventions of the horror genre? Is the imagery linked to horror narrative events, key characters or mise-en-scene? My horror poster fit in to the horror genre because horror posters have writing with red colour which has a connation with danger, blood and murder. The image fits into the horror genre because there is blood smeared on the antagonist face and he is holding a bloody knife which are usually presents in horror genre. 5 1.When I was constructing my film posters, I adhered to horror conventions by adding masthead, red writing, tagline, horror image and age certificate. 2.When I was constructing my film posters, I adhered to conventions by adding masthead, tagline, age certificate, review and release date 3.I developed skills that enabled me to cut out any image perfectly, I also learned how to change the channel of the image to suit the environment. 4.I manipulated my horror image by changing the channel of my image which made the image more suit into the horror genre 5.Elements such as the writing font could be improved so it suits more into the horror genre.
