4 MOVEMENT Movement is the design principle that operates in the fourth dimension - time. Movement is the process of the relocation of objects in space over time.

5 ACTUAL MOVEMENT Artwork that incorporates actual movement is called kinetic. Kinetic artwork can move through: 1. natural properties (like wind) 2. mechanically/technologically driven 3. the artist or viewer can move it
