4 FUND ALERTS Notifies public about available grants Contains the following information: – Purpose – Eligible recipients and eligibility requirements – Award sources and apportionments – Goals – Dates and contact information

6 GENERAL STATEMENT OF ASSURANCES Required of every grant recipient Submitted annually Usual accountability statements that recipient will accept funds in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations, etc. FFATA information collected Establishes authorized GME users/capture status

9 Recipient Submits Electronic Application Contains programmatic and fiscal information Each application is tailored to meet the needs of each program area Has built-in validations Has additional information available as a download if necessary for that program When approved, becomes public information

11 PAYMENT REQUESTS Primarily reimbursement-based Can be done anytime with a 15 business day turn around Must be done at least once every 60 days If request is more than 20% of project budget, justification is mandated as is approval from a program specialist

13 AMENDMENTS Done electronically Final amendment must be done 90 days before project end date Must be done if: – Want to spend money on a NEW line item – Want to add NEW capital outlay – Want to spend more than 10% or $1000 (whichever is greater) on established line item

14 COMPLETION REPORTS Due 90 days after project end date Financially based with downloads for specific program information Determines final payment or refund Recipient receives no “new” money until completion report is approved Data used in various reports – determines carryover
