3 TRAINING PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Unarmed Security Guard course The unarmed training guard course is mandated pursuant to Arizona law and monitored by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. AZ DPS established the lesson training plan that has to be followed at the minimum. The lesson plan is designed for 8 hours of instruction and provides the students with information related to: Orientation - Introduction to security Criminal Law / Laws of Arrest Uniform and Grooming Communications Crime Scene Preservation / First Response Ethics Sexual Harassment General Security Guard Procedures

4 TRAINING PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Unarmed Security Guard course The intended audience is the general public, seeking information on minimum training sought for security guards, or general public seeking to attain minimum training to meet licensing requirements established by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The program goals is to provide the general public with the minimum established training curriculum, and 2 hours of additional training aimed at risk management. The goal is to relay the training material to the attendees with a 90% retention rate.

5 GAP AND NEEDS ANALYSIS The Gap – Lack of liability training The Need – Lack of flexible training hours The current training gap identified is centered on risk management. Current training does not fully address the growing issues related to uniformed personnel. Criminal, civil, direct and indirect liability are growing at an exponential rate over the past 5 years. The mandated 8 hour training course will be extended to a 10 hour training course to include 2 hours of additional training related to liability and risk management.

6 GAP AND NEEDS ANALYSIS The market targeted does not have sufficient training availabilities for unarmed and armed security guards. Majority of the training is held in consecutive hours and days. A need is present for diversified training hours and days. Firearms Safety and Training, LLC will bridge this need and provide exceptional training to the customers.

7 BUDGET The cost of the training course per attendee is $79. Attendees primarily bear the cost of the training fee unless the employer reimburses the attendee. Facility cost - $50 per day unless training course is sponsored by an outside agency and provides the classroom at their location. Travel expense – Defined by actual travel means and location Personnel – limited to the instructor teaching the course Equipment – all equipment is provided by the facilitator Print – training material handouts print estimated at $20 per course

8 STAFFING PLAN The staffing is limited to the instructor facilitating the cours Requirements: 10 years working experience in the security industry Bachelors in Science in Criminal Justice or related field Ability to successfully organize and present training material Proven adult communication techniques Ability to successfully engage audience

9 STAKEHOLDERS AND GOALS Stakeholders (minimum of five)Partnership goalWays to build support Student Establish a trusting relationship for returning training requirements. Provide exception and engaging training environment Facilitator Provide professional and engaging training Attend advanced training, attain class feedback Outside agency (Security Agency) Establish lasting communication relationship to receive student referrals for future training needs of employees. Provide group discounts to outside agency employees for attending provided course.

12 PROGRAM EVALUATION The facilitator will be responsible for overseeing the program evaluation. Individual tests will be administered to attendees at the end of the course, testing the basic training knowledge provided. The tests are established by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and cannot be changed. Tests are available in four (4) versions and scored tests will be stored for a minimum of five years by the facilitator as mandated. Administered test will be scored and missed questions will be reviewed on an individual basis with the attendees for correct feedback and training follow up in specific areas.
