5 5 December 2009 Teachers take on a different role – that of workplace facilitators Emphasis is on changing the student from a dependent learner into a proactive and self- directed learner By providing activities that engage the student, they become motivated and move towards ownership of the VE and their individual role in ensuring its success Teacher role

6 6 December 2009 In virtual enterprise, your students will: Gain hands on practical experience Develop essential employability skills Work in a real business environment Gain customer service skills working with real clients Trade with many other VEs in Australia (and globally) Develop confidence and initiative Increase communication and teamwork skills Be mentored a by real business partner Enjoy their learning! 7 7 December 2009 Provide a brief ‘taster’ of work in a simulated business environment You will buy and sell from your colleagues in other virtual enterprises! This trading procedure: is the basis for all business activities and underpins the virtual enterprise economy introduces you to: –the trading cycle –the steps to be followed –the documentation required to trade with other virtual enterprises. Purpose of this workshop

8 8 December 2009 Today you are an employee of a virtual enterprise You are asked to take a position in a virtual enterprise and represent them while you trade with other virtual enterprises Each virtual enterprise will be given the documentation required to trade with the other virtual enterprises Your mission!
