LAA stretch targets – 80 additional units EC by 2009/2010 – shared targets LA’s Strategic commissioning plan 2007-2022 – 366 units EC type housing per annum – all tenures

8 8 NYCC EC Team Strategic Development Manager Extra Care Role/Responsibility; Develop partnerships across Districts and Providers to deliver EC type housing Deliver “Our Future Lives”, LAA EC Stretch targets and Strategic commissioning plan EC targets Ensure funding and Planning permission Project manage the EC program Share Nationally Best practice and lessons learnt

9 9 NYCC EC Team Extra Care Project manager EC Role/Responsibility; Project manage all live projects Develop pilots for services related to extra care and evaluate effectiveness of services/facilities Develop procedure and protocol to ensure consistency across all projects to prevent re-venting of wheels to share lessons learnt Promote strategic commissioning of services to deliver and enhance benefits of EC to communities.

10 10 NYCC EC Team Extra Care Project Officer Role/Responsibility; Mentor working sub groups to deliver project plan Support Residential Managers to change delivery cultures with both Residents and Staff making the move Support commissioning /operational staff through delivery tasks Work within the communities to promote understanding of EC
