9 Communication To avoid workers being in an area, or adjacent to an area to be sprayed, communication between divisions must occur. This must occur with all contractors as well.

10 Forest Activities Requires a written Health and Safety Program – Management Commitment Authorize a competent person who has the authority to supervise all personnel at the site and to enforce the company’s safety and health program – Supervisory Responsibilities – Employee Involvement (incl. reporting hazards) – Accident Investigation (recordkeeping)

11 Forest Activities Hazard Identification and Control – Monthly safety inspections of all worksites, vehicles, machines, equipment and work practices – Identify who will complete monthly safety inspections – Implement procedures that will be used to report and correct hazardous conditions

12 Forest Activities Annual Program Evaluation – Must include methods and procedures used to ID and revise program deficiencies. – Written findings of the annual evaluation must be maintained for 3 years from the date of issue.
