2 Upcoming Events: February 18 th – 20 th : Taste of LHS Current 8 th grade students visit LHS to learn about different areas of coursework. February 23 rd : Scheduling Overview An overview of courses and sample schedules will be presented to 8 th grade students during electives. March 2 nd – 5 th : Scheduling Overview High school counselors will help incoming freshman select and register for courses.

5 GPA All grades, excluding concurrent courses, are used in determining GPA and class rank. GPA is one of the most important determining factors in college acceptance, etc. Pre-AP, AP and Dual-Credit classes will be given additional GPA weight due to the rigor of the coursework.
