2 Male Parts of a Flower The male reproductive system is called the stamen. Male Parts: anther filament Anther Filament

3 Description of Male Flower Parts
Anther: This helps produce pollen. The pollen grains are transferred from the anther to the stigma. Filament: This helps support the anther, and it is a pathway for nutrients.

4 Female Parts of a Flower
The female reproductive system is called the pistil. Female parts: stigma style ovary ovule Stigma Style Ovary Ovule

5 Description of Female Flower Parts
Stigma: It receives pollen grains. Style: It is a pathway for nutrients to go down. Ovary: They become the fruit of the plant. Ovules: These become the seeds of the fruit.

6 Other Flower Parts Petals: They protect the flower.
Stem: It supports the plant. Sepal: it protects the bottom of the plant, and the reproduction organs. Egg: Creates another plant, and absorbs energy from the nutrients.
