1. Animoto Creating a professional looking video in just a few short steps.

2. Before we start… You will need to have pictures easy to access If you have Facebook, log on and minimize, sit tight. If you have pictures on school computer and know how to access them, sit tight. If you do not have any pictures, we need to drop a few in your My Pictures on your network.  Go to Google images, type in whatever subject to view images  Right Click on image, and scroll to “Save picture as”  Click on picture, name it, save it  This is where you will access pictures later on…

3. Then click on pictures, name it, save it

4. Go to www.animoto.com

5. Scroll down to the section How people Use Animoto, take a minute or two and look at some sample videos, you must click on the large one first.

6. Scroll back up to Pricing Plans Click on Compare Plans on the right in green

7. Click on Animoto to get to main screen

8. Click on log in to create an account

10. Choose a style, you can actually preview what the template looks like. You have the option of purchasing the video or using the 30 second free option. We are going to use the free option, so click on that. When viewing, you have to find one that says…

11. Before you start, it is going to offer a tutorial. We are going to skip that because I am going to show you the steps. So just close out of it.

12. Watch Time You can change style at any point Step 1-Add your pictures or videos Step 2-Add text Step 4-Preview video Step 3-Add Music

13. Step 1 -Add pictures…pull from many sources

14. Once uploaded (it often says loading for a minute or so), click on song area to change song. You can upload your own or choose from their selection.

16. Step 4 – Preview Video

17. Watch, Name it, Produce it You can skip preview and just click on skip and produce or click on produce after viewed (you can go back and edit as well if you need)

18. Done! – Animoto will store this under your name (top right – first name, last name initial). No need to store it- it has it’s own web address

19. How do you store it? It stores it “out there” http://animoto. com/project/Cp 6je3gyI5KLP8ws 1wN5bw# You just log into Animoto and it is there, I always cut and paste and put in somewhere in a word document.

20. Go back to main screen/home (click Animoto on top), scroll to the very bottom. It has special features depending on business… one for EDUCATION!
