1 Standard: 6-2.1: We will be able to describe the development of ancient Greek culture, including the concept of citizenship and the early forms of democracy in Athens. Why is this important? 6-2.2: We will be able to analyze the role of Alexander the Great, Socrates, Plato, Archimedes, Aristotle, and others in the creation and spread of Greek governance, literature, philosophy, the arts, math and science. Why are these important? Pick a few you do know about…

21 Pick one of the contributors we learned about today from Ancient Greece. Write a thank you note, acknowledging and thanking Greeks for their contributions to the world. Make sure you include how their contributions have affected the world!
