27. Contribution Model Purpose – Historically, Kuali has been “community source” – Want to begin leveraging resources more widely – Must maintain quality !! CFOs require that debits & credits balance – Want to learn from other open source models

Contribution Model Approach – Create an open and public web site for contributions – Use open tools to manage the process – Create ‘Levels of Trust’ for communication purposes – Code that is incorporated in an official release must meet Kuali standards – This is still under discussion and should be published later this year
