3 What is photography? Photography is the science, art and practice of making durable images through recording light or any other electromagnetic radiation by means of an image sensor or even means of light sensitive material. Normally, a lens is used to focus on the reflected light.

4 First image. The first image was formed in 1826 produced by Joseph-Nicéphore Niepce. Nicéphore Niépce (born March 7, 1765 –July 5, 1833) Was a French inventor, most noted as one of the inventors of photography.

5 First camera. The first camera was,,Camera Obscura’’ The name 'camera obscura' comes from the Latin words meaning 'darkened room'. The first record of the camera obscura principle goes back to Ancient Greece, when Aristotle noticed how light passing through a small hole into a darkened room produces an image on the wall opposite, during a partial eclipse of the sun. However, it may be much older than that. Stone age man may have used the principle of the camera obscura to produce the world's first art in cave drawings.

6 Color photo. In 1861 was made the first permanent color photo by James Clerk Maxwell.

7 Daguerreotype. Photographic process by which the metal plate is obtained unique (on a non- duplication) picture, called daguerreotype.

8 Digital camera. Digital camera saves the image as the information in the computer memory. Its advantage is that the resulting images can be easily changed to your computer and then printed in any number of copies.

9 Photography Art. Photography Art - field of art using techniques of photography as an artistic medium.

10 Photo trivia. Kodak - the company that invented the first digital camera was on the verge of bankruptcy because of digital technology. Calling photo - nowadays we make the images within 2 minutes as the entire humankind has done throughout the nineteenth century. Expensive camera - The most expensive camera was sold for 2.8 million dollars

11 Famous Polish artist. Tomasz Tomaszewski (born 6 May 1953 in Warsaw) - Polish photographer, creator of press photographs. Associate of the National Geographic Magazine

12 Famous italian artist. Oliviero Toscani (born 1942 in Milan) is an Italian photographer, son of renowned photojournalist

13 Famous spanish artist. Eugenio Recuenco is a photographer from Madrid, Spain, who works mostly in the publishing and advertising fields.

14 Wildlife photography. Wildlife photography- this is the act of taking photographs of wildlife. Wildlife photography is regarded as one of the more difficult forms of photography.

15 Famous turkish artist. Hüseyin Bahri Alptekin ( 1957-2007) studied aesthetics, philosophy of art, and sociology in Ankara and Paris
