13. SPANISH CLASSES Basic Spanish I: The aim of this course is to acquaint students with Spanish pronunciation, with the basic elements of grammar and vocabulary that will allow development in the medium in which they live: Ecuador. This will work with exercises that encourage development of these skills. Intermediate Spanish: Students taking this course should achieve adequate skills in the use of different tenses. They must handle a vocabulary that allows fluid communication in the environment in which they live. They develop skills of speaking and writing, as well as listening and reading. The texts used political topics, social, economic, and daily life of Latin America. Some idiomatic expressions used in the Hispanic world are also under study in this course.

14. SPANISH CLASSES Intermediate Conversation: The main objective of this course is that students gain confidence and express their opinions and points of view consistency and fluency. Students should be able to make presentations of various topics, participate in discussions, reading and interpreting texts. Speaking skills and listening must reach a very good standard. News, features and documentaries, also contribute to complete the objectives. In ALL classes students will become familiar with the different components of Ecuadorian culture, art, cuisine, history, sports, language, politics, ethnicity, geography, customs, etc. The acquisition of this knowledge will be achieved through readings, auditions, museum visits, interviews and surveys of Ecuadorians and observation and discussion of films. This course will become an essential complement, which together with the living with host families, ensure a true and comprehensive understanding of the culture.

15. COMPANIES VISIT PROGRAM Prendho is an UTPL incubator of companies and enterprises, generating knowledge, innovation and development. It was awarded by the Vice-president of Ecuador as the “Best incubator of Ecuador”. It has 15 entrepreneurships in the Technical and Agroindustry Areas. We go together !!
