8. Adventure for Berkshire’s young people The Current Plan  In August 2004 the Plan for the County was launched  The aspirations in the plan have provided an effective focus and a very useful framework for much of the support and direction provided.

Adventure for Berkshire’s young people The Current Plan The Plan for the County focuses on the structures, resources and activities to: Promote both growth in Groups, Units and new ways of delivering Scouting throughout Berkshire; Transform the perception and awareness of Scouting in local communities across Berkshire; Value volunteer adults in Scouting in Berkshire; Enhance the quality of programme experienced by young people in Berkshire.

Adventure for Berkshire’s young people The Next Phase  The Scout Association has developed a vision for Scouting in 2018  It is time to review the County Plan and the needs of Adult Volunteers and Young People over the next eight years  It is vital that all volunteer voices are heard in the evolution of the plan for the next phase of developing the adventure for Berkshire’s young people  The next evolution will be launched in August 2011.

12. Adventure for Berkshire’s young people Evolution Timeline  Collation and discussion of ideas will be held throughout Berkshire and are open to all Adult Volunteers.  Particular sessions will be organised to enable young people to help shape Scouting in Berkshire.
