2 Boston Massacre The importance of this event is that several colonists were killed and this led to a campaign by speech-writers. The state this event is in is Massachusetts. 3 Boston Tea Party The importance of this event was that the taxes where getting raised by the british and we didn't want to pay for it. It was one of the first revolutionary acts.
