 Blogs  Podcasts  Social Networking  Social Bookmarking  VOIP

 Blogs could either be a website or part of a website, they are usually controlled by an individual to post comments, videos etc. etc.  Blogs are always displayed in reverse- chronological order.

 A podcast is a series of multi-media files, that are often downloaded through the internet.  The websites that use podcasting are: YouTube, Daily Motion, MetaCafe etc.

 Social Networking is site that brings people from around the world, to chat, comment on other people’s posts and post videos, all through the web.  Sites that have social networking are: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace etc.

 Social Bookmarking is a method for web users to organize, manage, store and search for bookmarks of resources located online.  Websites that have social bookmarking are: Backflip, BlinkPro, BuddyMarks etc.

 VOIP is a program that allows other people to talk with each other via headphones or speakers.  Programs that can be used for VOIP are: TeamSpeak 3, Skype, Ventrilo and X-Fire.
