17 Leveraging FACEBOOK Create a Facebook group (secret or closed) or Facebook page (public) Use discussion threads Post training session notes and links to supporting information Extend learning post-training

18 Wikipedia: Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read each others’ updates, known as ‘tweets’ TWITTER

20 Leveraging TWITTER Provide information to your learners. Post regularly. Use hashtag (#) so learners can provide feedback and communicate on your materials Encourage learners by liking and re-tweeting their tweets Follow the influencers

21 Leveraging TWITTER “Backchanneling” Use hashtags (#) so your tweet can be found – for example: #Xavier Display Twitter stream during training If possible, have someone monitor the tweets and address them during the training session Use Twitter’s “favorite” feature to mark insightful comments

22 WIKI Wikipedia: A wiki is a website that allows the easy creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) text editor. WIKI = HAWAIIAN FOR “FAST”
